Women's health: regular check-ups

Core checks

A gynaecological examination, uterine ultrasound and cervical screening are the foundations. Frequency is set by the doctor based on age and history.

Breast checks

Every woman should know her own breasts; mammography screening is usually recommended from age 40. A family history calls for an individual plan.

When to seek care

Seek care without delay for cycle changes, painful periods, unusual discharge or pelvic pain. An early visit brings clarity and reassurance.

This is general patient education, not individual medical advice. Do not stop or change medicines yourself. Fast or make other preparations only when instructed by your care team.
